Matt and Lindsey are Engaged! | Indiana Engagement Photography

Matt and Lindsey are an adorable couple that I feel so privileged to have met. You see, they already have their wedding photographer (the lovely Lauren Richwine of Portrait of a Lady), but she was going to be away on vacation when Matt was going to be home (he so bravely serves in the U.S. Marines). So, it was an honor for me to help out and shoot Matt and Lindsey's engagement pics. I might just have to second shoot with Lauren for their wedding just so I can see them all dressed up in their wedding attire! (Thank you Lauren for trusting me with your clients!)

Sweet Mason | Indiana Baby Photography

Meet adorable Mason! He's a sweet two week old, who has his mommy and daddy wrapped around his little finger! He didn't seem to like having his pictures taken, but I was able to snatch some great shots in "the calm" between the cries..(even his little cries were cute, I love babies!) It was so great to meet you Mason!

Kyle and Leslie are Married! | Ohio Wedding Photography

Meet Kyle and Leslie, an adorable couple who exchanged vows this past weekend!! It was a freezing cold day, but we braved the weather and snow to get some awesome outdoor pics. Leslie was such a trooper, she didn't even act cold...she looked stunning. Her beautiful red shoes looked amazing with my red couch...(which my assistant and I carried down a hill, woohoo!) Congrats Kyle and Leslie!!

I couldn't decide which of these next two I liked better, the color version or the black and white..so I put both up!

DIY Art!

For weeks I searched for a picture to hang above my tub (in my new bathroom my hubby built!)..but I just couldn't find what I was looking for. My husband suggested that I knew someone who could probably take a picture that I would like....oh yeah, ME! I hadn't even thought about it, I had only ever taken pics of people. So, during a family session, I snapped a few pics of these trees, and it ended up being just what I wanted. To keep the theme of the bathroom simple, I cropped three smaller images out of the big tree pic and put them above my porcelain throne. So, my challenge to you is to get your camera out and go outside and snap a few pics...you'll be surprised at what can be art! Try taking pics of trees, grass, old buildings....and if nothing turns out, at least you had fun trying!

this is a 40x30 canvas..I love it! this pic doesn't do it justice..apparently bathrooms are hard subjects to photograph!

Malia and Mylie | Ohio Children Photography

These are my best friend's girls, I can't believe how big they are getting! Malia is in first grade, has lost a ton of teeth, and is growing into such a beautiful girl. Mylie is getting so big, too...it's crazy to think she was born just three years ago! I love how the sun is falling on Malia in this first pic!
